Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager with REJIMUS, a preeminent regulatory management consulting firm to companies the Food/Beverage, Dietary Supplement, Cosmetic, Animal Feed and Homeopathic industries, you will be responsible for driving new business development activities associated with your assigned accounts/territory, including reporting and the provision of support to the executive management team, other team members and/or prospective clients for the designated service offerings provided by REJIMUS in order to achieve or exceed the monthly sales goals. You will study and understand the industries to which we support, and your clients’ business so as to leverage all available service offerings provided by REJIMUS for your clients, thereby achieving or exceeding the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. You will keep current and organize and manage client information and project opportunities, and related information using the designated systems, sales training to ensure accuracy of project information and opportunities, manage personal time maximize sales performance, including the delivery of deliverables, reports, quotations or other assigned tasks and sale effectiveness. You will function as the point person for new business inquiries in a timely manner for prospecting, qualifying new opportunities and establishing business accounts as required, in order to transact business with REJIMUS.
This position is an office-based full-time role at the headquarters that is to be commenced during REJIMUS’s normal hours of operation unless otherwise defined work schedule, with occasional local and non-local travel, unless otherwise agreed upon. The position requires absolute security of all company-provided equipment(s), material(s), company information, and customer information, whether in electronic or any other format at all times. Reliable transportation is a requirement. Moreover, the position requires you to maintain strict control over your dedicated working environment/space, inclusive of the ability to mitigate background noise while conducting work and/or during customer communications e.g., teleconferences, etc. The position requires minimal travel but will occasionally require overnight travel to locations whether in-state, out-of-state and/or internationally in order to render services. You are required to maintain sufficient and current documentation and/or identification (e.g.,valid passport, driver’s license, etc.) at all times in order to fulfill such obligations for such required travel. Travel on behalf of REJIMUS to tradeshows or conferences and other opportunities whereby you will represent the company will also be required occasionally. In the event of traveling for any assigned work or business requirements outside of the main office of REJIMUS, which is defined as a radius of thirty (30) miles or more, any and all expenses, whether reimbursable by the company or due for reimbursement by customers, must be reviewed and approved in advance by REJIMUS and coincide with expense reimbursement policy, inclusive of mileage, and must be properly submitted to REJIMUS for review and approval prior to the reimbursement.
General Duties & Responsibilities
The general duties and responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Understand and provide clear communication for all company service offerings and personnel experience levels as well as team capacity and other objectives as they relate to your sales efforts
- Cold-calling, cold-emailing, networking, prospecting/qualifying leads, establishing and running sales meetings, and hosting clients to continually develop business from new accounts by utilizing all training and available resources as well as qualifying, organizing, tracking, and updating information associated with clients and project/service opportunities to achieve/exceed sales goals
- Take ownership and manage outbound and inbound calls, or emails for new or existing client requests with urgency and consistent responsiveness, inclusive of ensuring team members provide timely engagements and responses
- Organize, develop, manage and provide agendas/memos for internal and client meetings with assigned account(s) and the appropriate staff members as required; provide lead role in managing introductory client meetings, weekly meetings or other engagements
- See opportunities for new business through to close
- Meticulously manage your work calendar and meetings to ensure correctness and current information for all shared calendar members and/or clients
- Travel as needed to clients’ facilities or other locations to directly present, prospect/qualify leads, or other company activities e.g., tradeshows, etc.
- Work with executive team to implement and continually execute sales and/or operational strategies that maximize productivity and opportunities to accomplish sales goals and objectives
- Support and/or lead the presentation and/or negotiation of contracts, pricing, collections or other sale related efforts with assigned account(s)
- Actively participate in evaluations of changes to documents, products, processes and methods as well as in weekly meetings as required with current and accurate information relevant to your prospecting activities
The primary obligations of the position are as follows:
- Represent company correctly and professionally to clients and partners the services and manage the assigned accounts and projects to ensure requirements deliverables are met
- Participate in scheduled company meetings and provide colleagues/management with updates to project status, changes of scope, customer and/or regulatory feedback, scheduling and priority of tasks and general input on account development strategies
- Maintain corporate, project and client confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to communicating and conducting oneself in a professional manner at all working times, and maintain excellence in writing and interactions with clients and colleagues alike to drive individual, team and client successes

Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.Sc. degree, preferably in a technical scientific discipline
- Articulate English speaker/writer; additional languages are advantageous
- 3-5 years sales experience or more, preferably in food/supplement industry, or other technical area
- Professional sales or customer service training courses encouraged
- Comfortability in heavy performance-based salary and commission/bonus structure
- Ability to prospect by phone, video conference, email, and other designated means to get customers on boarded and optimize your sales cycle
Compensation Outline:
- $65K-$120K uncapped, from base salary and bonuses
