Dietary Supplement Good Manufacturing Practices for OLMs/OLDs

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) require all parts of the manufacturing and distribution of dietary supplements be proactive in assuring that the products meet all requirements for identity, purity, strength, and composition. The regulations mandate that GMP must be performed at all aspects of the manufacture and distribution of the products. This GMP regulations applies not only to manufacturers, but also to own label distributors and marketers. Own label distributors have the same GMP responsibility as any other company that distributes dietary supplements
The training is specifically geared towards own label distributors and marketers, which are companies that do not manufacture the product, but distributes or markets products under its own name. This training will provide an overview on the background of GMP, the importance of GMP, and specific regulations for dietary supplement cGMP under 21 CFR Part 111.

The Presenter: Joel Villareal
Mr. Villareal possesses a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of La Verne. He has worked in the Pharmaceutical and Food industries since 2004. Prior to joining REJIMUS, he was worked for Prolacta Bioscience as a QC Supervisor overlooking the QC laboratory operations. Before Prolacta, he has worked for B. Braun Medical in different positions throughout the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Departments.
